Miranda Winters is an award-winning editor, director, producer, writer, designer, and post-production leader with a 15-year track record of telling bold stories. Based in Los Angeles, she co-founded Winters Rock, a production company known for crafting award-winning non-fiction stories that dig deep into the human experience — whether it’s in a California classroom or on the wild plains of Wyoming.

Miranda started her career as an intern and quickly worked her way up to VP of Operations at The Go Big Project, an action sports-focused production company, where she helped lead production and post-production across more than 100 episodes of television. Over the course of her career, she has managed teams of editors, supervised both staff and freelance post teams, and built and refined workflows from ingest and project organization through editorial, finishing, quality control, and delivery. A highly experienced editor herself, she has always remained hands-on — shaping story, pacing, structure, and performance while helping other editors do their best work.

Since then, she’s directed and produced four feature documentaries and helped launch ten original TV series around the world, from big-wave surf competitions in Portugal to adventure races in Iceland to protest lines in Los Angeles.

Her credits include Moms Club, Blue Zeus, We Can’t Breathe, Gangsta Gardener, 100 Foot Wave, Close Proximity, Chasing Monsters: El Niño, Modern Explorers, 30//10 Challenge, and many more. Whether she’s refining a cut, leading a post team, writing a pitch, designing a title sequence, or directing in the field, Miranda brings creative clarity, technical fluency, fierce determination, and a deep sense of purpose to every project.

When she’s not in production, she’s spending quality time with her wife and their two cats, Taiko and Emilio.
